Tithe Series

The world's economic principles vary greatly than that of God's. His Word declares; "Give and it shall be given to you..." Generally speaking, this is hardly the world's approach. All of our natrual resources, from food to clothing and money to land, come from God and are really His. So, as New Testamant believers, it makes perfect sense for us to give back to God by supporting His work on earth, and honoring Him with our time, talents, and yes- money. The Bible has a lot to say about finances.

However, tithing is not about money alone. It's also about the heart. What we do with our resources reveals who we are and what we truly value- our character and our spiritual priorities. Whether we give with dollars, yen, pounds, or 'Skittles', as believers we are commanded to bring tithes into the House of God; not as an obligation, but as a privilege- in joyful obedience, trusting Him and giving in an attitude of thanksgiving and worship.

This series explains how Old and New Testament scriptures dovetail to confirm the covenant, relevance and benefits of tithing. You’ll also discover how Jesus, Himself, actually receives the tithes from New Covenant believers. What we do with our resources reveals a great deal about our character as well as our spiritual priorities.
