Hear ye, hear ye, calling all boys and girls!
Kid Life Kamp is a three-day day camp held July 24th – 26th for students going into 2nd grade – completing 5th grade and for 6-year-olds that have been in Kid Life before March 1, 2017. Kid Life camp combines team competitions, small groups, worship and teaching for an experience that is sure to change a child’s life.
This camp begins each day at 8am and parents can pick up their children each day at 3:00pm. The final day of camp will also have a special award ceremony held that evening from 7pm – 9pm. More details will be given to you on the first day of camp.
In order to reserve a spot at camp, you must fill out the registration form and return it with the non-refundable camp registration fee of $99. Registration forms are located online at www.alcclife.org or at the registration table located in the main lobby.
Who Can Participate?
All kids going into 2nd grade through having completed 5th grade are eligible to attend as well as 6-year-olds that have been in Kid Life before March 1, 2017.
When and where is the money due?
Registrations will be accepted Wednesday night and Sunday morning in the Kid Life lobby. The last day for registrations is June 30, 2017.
What does the price include?
The cost includes lunch, light snacks, programming and activities, and a camp t-shirt.
What is the dress code?
It is summer and it will be warm, so we encourage shorts and t-shirts. Everyone should dress modestly during camp. Tennis shoes or sneakers are required because of outdoor and indoor activities. NO flip-flops.
What happens in case of medical emergency?
There will be a nurse at camp with your child (provided by Student Ministries). In the event of an emergency, your child will receive the necessary medical attention by our nurse and/or be transported to the nearest medical hospital for treatment. We will attempt to contact you immediately.
Will there be adequate supervision?
Yes, supervision of your child will be provided by the ALCC staff and approved Student Ministry Volunteers. Supervision will be provided for all activities.
What type of food will be served?
Lunch will be provided for the students as well as a light snack in the afternoon. Parents should not pack snacks for their child unless the child has special dietary needs or food allergies. If your child has special food needs, please contact the Student Ministries offices.
Can my child take medications?
Prescription medications can be administered with instruction. Prescription medications need to be in the original bottle. All prescription bottles should come in a ziploc bag with the camper’s name written clearly on it. Over the counter medications will not be accepted at Kid Life Kamp. All medications will be administered by the camp nurse.
What is the discipline policy?
Kid Life Camp staff reserves the right to dismiss any camper whose conduct becomes in any way detrimental and disrespectful to other campers, camp leadership, and Abundant Life property. The parents of children in violation will be contacted and asked to pick up their child at their own expense. NO refunds will be given.
